Description

SIMAPTIC develops an immersive simulation solution designed to improve training for critical situations in the fields of healthcare and emergency response. Our technology combines virtual reality, a simulation mannequin, and connected textile sensors to recreate realistic scenarios in which learners can train without risk to patients or victims. Unlike traditional simulators, which are often limited to a single physical environment or to non-modifiable scenarios, SIMAPTIC offers a hybrid simulation approach. Learners interact with a real mannequin equipped with integrated connected textile sensors, while the environment and situations are generated in virtual reality. This combination preserves real technical gestures while providing full immersion in various contexts such as hospital wards, home settings, public spaces, or emergency situations. Trainers can easily configure educational scenarios: selection of the pathology (cardiac arrest, hemorrhage, respiratory distress, etc.), adjustment of clinical parameters, choice of the simulation environment, and dynamic evolution of the situation. Learners are therefore exposed to realistic situations that foster decision-making, stress management, and team coordination. SIMAPTIC is designed for the medical sector as well as for professional emergency response and rescue training. The solution can be used by healthcare institutions, simulation centers, emergency services, first-aid training organizations, and structures involved in preparing professionals for critical situations. Already deployed in several healthcare institutions and training centers, the SIMAPTIC solution contributes to the evolution of training methods by making simulation more accessible, more immersive, and more reproducible. The objective is to better prepare professionals for critical situations in order to improve quality of care and team performance.
