The INRS (National Research and Safety Institute for the Prevention of Occupational Accidents and Diseases) works on behalf of the 20.6 million employees and 2.2 million companies covered by the general social security system. From the acquisition of knowledge (studies and research) to its transfer (assistance, information, training), the INRS offers solutions tailored to the diversity of occupational risks. Created in 1947 by the CNAM, the INRS is a non-profit organization governed by a joint council and has 550 employees.
