Content

During this workshop, the basic principles of immediate and post-immediate support for victims of road traffic accidents will be explained.

Participants of this workshop will learn to better understand the reactions likely to be encountered by a victim during critical (potentially traumatic/depressing) events. An explanation of the determinants of the development of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and the importance of heart rate control and peritraumatic dissociative reactions will be explained.

Through the discussion of real cases on psychosocial support in road traffic accidents, the issue of advanced psychological support, by psychological stabilization and emotional ventilation will become clear.
